Useful information about Batumi and Georgia
Ski resort Goderzi
Just a hundred kilometers from Batumi along the Transajar highway is the youngest ski resort of Goderzi. It is located on the pass of the same name, which unites Adjara and the southern Javakheti region, the resort attracts many residents of Batumi. There are several reasons for this: easy access, no need to stop for the night, inexpensive ski equipment rental is available. & nbsp;
Two-level lifts are installed in Goderzie:
a cable car with six-seater cabins leads to the first level;
further skiers use chairlifts.
The resort is still developing, so the infrastructure, to put it mildly, is weaker than in Bakuriani, Gudauri and Svaneti. There are also fewer ready-made routes in Goderzi, but on this resort freeriders feel free to feel themselves. There are more unprepared slopes than necessary.
Since the ski resort is underdeveloped, you should go there with your lunch boxes, because in the only restaurant that is available there may not be empty seats, as well as no shops.
Goderzi cannot inspire experienced skiers and tourists who have visited many famous and popular alpine resorts, but for an inexpensive day trip from Batumi at the weekend this is the best choice. & nbsp; & nbsp;
