Gonio Fortress
Located 15 km from the city. The oldest architectural building in Georgia.
Argonauts Square
The main attraction of the center of Batumi. A statue of Medea with a golden fleece rises above the square. Near stand with a description of the wanderings of the argonauts.
Botanical Garden
It is located just north of the city, on the Cape Verde. Here cypresses, palm trees, sakura, cacti, magnolias and other plants coexist.
Bridge and waterfall
Almost a thousand years ago, by order of Queen Tamara, in the village of Makhuntseti (35 km from Batumi) an arched river crossing was built. Not far from it, from steep cliffs, a waterfall falls from a twenty-meter height.
